Jay Wud |Guitarist | Singer | Producer | Programmer

Hi, I’m Jay Wud.

I’m a guitar player, singer, producer and programmer. I made this site so you can find everything I do whether its related to my music or artists I work with. So yeah, welcome!

In recent years I’ve been working with LA music producers Joe Rickard and Howard Benson providing them with programming and co-production for a list of clients such as Three Days Grace, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Manafest, Starset and Vantavoid.

Some brands I endorse and work with are, Red bull, ESP Guitars, EMG pickups, Orange amps and Dean Markley strings.

The latest single ‘Reach The Surface’ is out!

Samara ‘9mm’

‘9mm’ was the first (Trap) track I ever wrote, produced and mixed for acclaimed Tunisian super star Samara. It was a great process as we both never knew each other apart from our first meeting at Mango jam studios in Dubai. ‘9mm’ gained more than 11 million views in its first year of release.

Shine your light

2nd single from the third album ‘Transitions’ was featured on classic rock magazine, Metal hammer, Metro UK to name a few.

This was definitely one of my favorite record releases. It was produced in Los Angeles by Howard Benson, and it was a big learning curve for me. It got me more interested in the production side of music and experimenting with a brand new sound.

Low

1st single release from ‘Transitions’ which charted # 1 on iTunes Middle east!

Deception

That was my very first release as an instrumental from ‘Transitions’. Featured on Total guitar online magazine.

This track was written with one thing in mind, guitar shredding, riffs and melodies extravaganza.

Incomplete heart

1st single from my second record ‘False Utopia’.

This record is very raw in all aspects and definitely marks my transformation as a songwriter, producer, singer and guitar player.

New Blood

It all started here, my debut album ‘New Blood’ released in 2010.

The record was self produced. I played all the parts on it and programmed what I couldn’t play.

At the time, I was experimenting with software synthesizers which was infused in the record not knowing that it will find its way back to me.
